GET TO KNOW ME
Helping You Move Upward
I’ve helped my clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. I am here to help my clients achieve a more positive outlook on life, and provide them with all the tools necessary to get them there. Let me help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals. I don't sugar coat things. I'm direct and ask powerful questions to get to the root of the issue.

I've spent two decades working for the Department of Defense (opinions expressed here are mine and not the government's) in the Department of the Navy, United States Marine Corps, the Joint Staff and the Office of Secretary of Defense. As most people working in a large organization do, I became totally annoyed with the speed of decision making and the inability to get answers when I needed them. That's why I started the FedUpward Podcast - to help federal employees navigate through the toughest parts of working through a bureaucracy. Then a mentor introduced me to coaching, and I was hooked. I completed accredited coach training at American University. I've coached clients at DoD, the Army, the Department of Homeland Security, Google, and PhD candidates at DC area universities, I can't wait to help you.
I also hold a master's degree in public administration from The George Washington University, and a master's of science in resource strategy from the Eisenhower School at the National Defense University. I'm a wife, and mother of two, and grew up in rural Alabama before heading to Tulane University for my undergraduate degree. I served as a trainer for the Department of Defense's (DoD) Executive Leadership Development Program, and have experience leading diverse teams.
